I wouldn’t leave the car seat in the car, maybe just the base. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant and I literally was just in a car accident at 38 weeks. Someone ran into the back of my car going 80MPH on the highway. If I would have had the car seat in the car I would have needed to buy another one. Anything can happen from now until birth so I would wait as long as possible

From my experience,  the nurses do it when you go home with the baby to make sure it's installed correctly.

If that’ll ease your mind on what you have to get done I don’t see what the problem would be go for it do what keeps you level headed
