Hello all you wonderful mamas, I have some news to tell. My little man has finally arrived!

It was about midnight when I started having contractions, now I had been having some aches and pains here and there for the past three days. By the time it hit 2am on the 16th my contractions only had worsened so we called me an ambulance while grabbing my take home bag and having to be careful with walking on the ice and snow. As I had been brought into the hospital they had taken a look at my cervix and sure enough I was 8cm dilated already. So the doctors brought me to one of the delivery rooms for me to deliver in. They had given me an epidural and had me rest for a short bit before the time came when I needed to push. However, as I had awoken from my short rest, while the other parts of my lower half had been numbed by the epidural my left thigh seemed to end up getting knocked right out of the numbness I had been experiencing after being given the epidural and so with each push led me to feel contracts from my own thigh. By around 1:41pm my son was born. I’m so happy he’s finally came after these long months of anticipating his arrival I couldn’t be more happier. 🎊
