I have never been to the gynecologist two doctors have seen me undressed once when I was 8 unwillingly a doctor and my mom forced my clothes off to look at dry skin patches and gave me cream and another time when I had an abortion, both times were extremely scarring and ever since I have been scared to death to get undressed at the doctors. I made my first gynecology appointment because I had a yeast infection a few months ago went to med express they let me pee in a cup to get tested for STDs but they said it was just a yeast infection I took medication but it seems like it never went away fast forward two months and I think there might be something else wrong I have bumps on the side of my upper inner thigh right beside my vagina and it burns to urinate, I’ve been having brown discharge, period is late, cramps, and headaches. I’m so scared and so I call today to make an appointment and find out the only doctor they have for an ASAP appointment will be a boy, I know he’s a doctor and it shouldn’t matter but I’m not comfortable with him probing around inside of me. When I have to get any type of undressed in the doctors I have a major mental breakdown and I care about my health but I also don’t know if I can do this.
