I was surprised to get so many negative responses to the name we chose for our daughter. I thought it was pretty but whenever I tell people they get really quiet and then eventually go “oh...” And it’s awkward (these are over the phone responses). It makes me wonder if we are making the right choice. I’m just hoping my daughter won’t be embarrassed by her name idk.. so far I told my mom, my siblings, my in-laws, and family friends and the only person who liked it was my sister.

Her name is Violet Olivia Cortez

Idk I just feel bad. Not for me but for my daughter.
