I met the perfect man. He’s everything I’m looking for except I really want kids and he doesn’t and he has a vasectomy :(

Well maybe the reason he got a vasectomy is because he doesn't want kids. But if there were other reasons, you could still adopt or go to a sperm donor or anything, but I know - that is definetly not the same for all women.

No I wouldn't. Sure there are other ways of becoming a parent but I wouldn't go into a relationship hoping that my partner would someday change his mind and want to raise a child with me or knowing if I decided to adopt or get a sperm donor I may be stuck choosing between him and having a child.

Vasectomies can be reversible, but if they didn’t want kids and I did, yes that would be a dealbreaker for me.

NO. You both deserve to be happy with your life. If one person gets what they want then the other suffers. Getting into a relationship with him will only cause heartbreak that could’ve been prevented and you’ll be wasting time.

You could always adopt. Just because you can’t have his kids, doesn’t mean you can’t raise children together
