Baby hates sleeping flat in the crib...

Gabriele

My baby has been the same since she was born sleep schedule wise .... nothing of a drastic change.... however I feel now that she’s almost 6 months old she should be sleeping better or longer stretches and she’s not. She will normally sleep from 7-10:30 sometimes will wake up crying in between suddenly (bad dreams idk why???) but I’ll put the pacifier in her mouth and she goes straight back to sleep... so all okay there... After 10:30 she wakes for a feeding and after that feeding getting her to go back to sleep after that in her crib alone is so hard !! She will rub her eyes and Toss and turn and pull her pacifier out of her mouth then has a hard time putting it back in her mouth the right way lol so I have to help her then after 30 minutes of trying to get her to sleep in the crib I end up taking her out and laying her down in my arms with me in my bed and she falls asleep 😴 for naps she sleeps with a boppy pillow to support her head up a little during naps in the crib and sleeps great... at night I’m to scared to leave the boppy pillow in there when I’m sleeping and can’t watch her like she will turn her head and suffocate .. so I’m wondering if she’s use to sleeping with the boppy pillow for cushion/support or if she hates sleeping flat for some reason ...... cause if I take it away she won’t sleep at night and I’ll have to hold her which probably makes her feel safe and cushioned just like the boppy pillow does...??? What do I do? Could she be uncomfortable as in acid reflux type of thing .. or you think it’s just a comfort thing for her ? She’s never liked sleeping flat since she was born. Any advice ?
