It’s worse than I thought

I posted a picture of Andy yesterday and mentioned he had gotten scratched by his kitten and that it seemed to have gotten infected. Well a few mommas told me to get him checked out. We went to the pediatric clinic tonight and I’m so thankful you guys told me about this!! His actual eyeball and eyelid are pink and puffy today and the pediatrician told me they take cat scratches extremely seriously...I DIDNT KNOW 🥺 My poor little guy is now gonna be on antibiotics and I have to observe him very closely the next few days because he may even end up in the hospital if things don’t progress ASAP. As soon as they came in to check him out he was cooperating and pointing at his eye saying “kitty” so I know for a fact it bothers him. Right when we got home he started breathing sorta congested so I’m really hoping his lymph nodes aren’t swollen now (they were fine when checked at the clinic 2 hours ago)
