so I hired this nanny for my 8 month baby everything was good she seem I can trust her I hired her the same week.. then the first day of work I I told her everything she needed to now and also told her I have cameras in the house.. once I told her that she says she didnt feel
comfortable & have no interest in the position again ! now im back to square 1 with no sitter but should I be concern and warn others ? was I invading her privacy? i honestly feel i rather let ppl no i have a camera to avoid them doing anything thinking i dont have a camera

No , you should let them know . But they also have every right to decide they don’t want to do it .. but honestly .. oh well . Might have saved yourself some trouble and heartache later on . 🤷🏻‍♀️

You should let them know during the interview. That will save you some time. I know a lot of people feel uncomfortable with that; feel like every little thing will be judged. I would even put the camera thing in my job posting, to make sure you’re only getting people who are okay with it.

I wish you luck on finding a sitter. There are genuine and honest sitters out there so don’t lose hope. I would suggest letting ppl know right from the get-go to avoid this happening again. It would weave out all the candidates who aren’t ready to be recorded.

It is weird that the person reacted like that. But yeah, I would let that be known from the start. These days, everyone has some kind of camera. Nobody should be surprised. 
Maybe that person misunderstood and thought put cameras in just cause it was her. ?? I don't know. Either way, anyone that has a problem with cameras can kick rocks.

I think you should probably tell them during the interview process to avoid this situation in the future.
It could be a red flag or just as simple as someone not feeling comfortable being watched 8 hours a day (or however long you’re gone).
I own an animal care company so when we went on vacation for a week I obviously just paid one of my employees to stay at my house for the week, we told him when he came over to go over everything where the cameras were and to feel free to move them or turn them around when he slept or needed privacy. Our bedrooms don’t have cameras but he chose to couch it some nights and just turned them around. Ours were mainly just to check in on the animals and see them because we miss them 😂( we have a damn zoo with our own plus our fosters)

Cameras are absolutely necessary. I’d keep them in my home period for a sitter and other reasons. God forbid anything happens.
