Hi Moms! I’m exclusively breast feeding and had the opportunity to receive the Covid vaccine. However as I was signing up, the questionnaire asked if I was pregnant or breastfeeding. When I answered yes, I was referred to talk to my doctor first.

My doctor stated that typically vaccines are recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding moms, and she sees no reason why it would be different with this one. But there are no specific studies on this vaccine on pregnant/nursing moms to solidify her opinion.

Has anyone else had a doctor confirm a recommendation? Has anyone had the vaccine?
