9 weeks in and no heartbeat was detected by ultrasound then it might not be ok. 😔
9 weeks no heart beat found
So clearly this question is for a friend as I’m 36weeks but has anyone had an ultra sound at 9 weeks and they couldn’t find the heartbeat but the baby was okay? Trying to make her feel hopeful but I’m not sure about the outcome myself.

It depends.. if the doctor was only using a doppler than it’s possible. But with an ultrasound I am afraid that it’s not. By 9 weeks should def be a steady heartbeat

I’ve never heard of them saying it’s ok at 9 weeks I guess one way to tell if baby is still growing is to have another scan in a week otherwise I’ve been told if not seen by 6 weeks it’s not viable

Well if the doctor is not worried.. who are we to say otherwise. But its weird, there should be a heartbeat.

She had an ultrasound this morning and they found where the heart is but apparently couldn’t find the heart beat. They told her the baby was growing fine though so not sure
Doctors don’t typically use a Doppler then because the heartbeat is hard to find before 10-12 weeks, maybe an ultrasound could help her get some clarity ?
