Winter storm & Miscarried - how long does it last?

So on Saturday, Feb 13, I went to the ER for bleeding. They said they couldn’t find a heartbeat and the baby was measuring 6 weeks and I was 8. They sent me home to call my doctor. Well, I live in Texas and we are having all this ice and snow, plus power and water outages... so I haven’t been able to go to the doctor. I don’t know when I will be able to schedule something, hopefully next week, but how long does a natural miscarriage last?

It depends. My bleeding lasted about a week. I've heard of women bleeding shorter or longer than that. If after a week you're still bleeding or you're bleeding so heavily that you fill a super pad in two hours or less for two hours or more that would also warrant a call to the doctor or a trip to the ER
