Why are these compared?

So I keep seeing people compare reading a se*ual book to watching porn and im curious why. When I watch porn I master*ate or have se* but when I read a se*ual book I don't. I have no judgement if people do but I'm just curious do they? Is this why they compare these two as the same thing?

The smut in a book can be just as graphic as a video. For me it’s way better. 
I mean the book Vibe by Liza James, holy shit. That was just straight porn. The sex scenes were ... dirty, nasty, graphic, enticing, sexy, arousing. 100% read those and was more aroused than when watching porn. 
It wasn’t any of that typical romance description either. It wasn’t, “He rubbed his hand down the length of torso, felt my tawny hair before entering me.” No, no. The smut, the spice, I read ... lord have mercy, I shouldn’t read it in public. 
Book smut can be just like a porn. You just visualize in your mind, instead of seeing it with actors or whoever. 
Also, for those who want to read Vibe, it’s the best WLW book I have ever read. It does come with trigger warnings and has dark material, but the spice does not disappoint.

Girl I can’t lie, I do it or used to do it. When it comes to that though I have a very good imagination. I don’t porn or a book to organ. I just close my eyes and imagine a sex scene I’ve had with my man.
