My fiancé and I are doing a long engagement and have been engaged for over a year now (it’ll be two years in August). I want to get married in 2024, so I would be 29 (he’ll be 42). He wants to wait longer than that. When he proposed he promised me that we’d be married by the time I was 35 so it’d better happen 😂 I have two kids with this man but marriage is a dealbreaker for me. The next year with the date I want (September 22nd on a Sunday) is 2030, so when I’d be 35.

I was with my boyfriend for two weeks before he proposed. We got married two months later. I was 22, he was 29. We just celebrated our one year anniversary. I wouldn’t trade him for the world. He’s absolutely my best friend and I never want to be without him.
