Not telling the father about the baby is it selfish or ok moms choice?

Say someone gets pregnant and decides to not tell the father because they are not in a relationship. Whether it be just a hook up or they broke up then she found out she is pregnant. First let me say the father is NOT abusive or unfit to be a parent in anyway.

The mother just doesn’t want a relationship with him and doesn’t want to co parent so they choose to raise the baby alone and never tell the father. Is this wrong and selfish or ok because it’s the moms choice?
