I am going through an egg donation cycle after months of waiting, I just got matched with my donor. It so happened that my cycle just started. My clinic has not communicated the treatment plan yet so I did some research and asked if I should go on birth control to sync the cycle with our donor. Only answer come in on day three for an ultrasound and then you get birth control.

Now i am wondering how other donor cycles worked. Is that correct that I should start the pill or should I start it at the same time as the donor or does it not matter? Can someone who went through a donor egg cycle share the cycle calendar with me? The nursing team will get back to me in a few days with my schedule - I am just wondering if I am messing with the schedule if I go on birth control now. Thank you so much. I waited so long for this. Don’t want to mess things up.
