Has anyone had to have their little one re-circumcised?

My newborns circumcision healed around 10 days and then the skin started to cover him again. We pulled it back and it wasn’t attached then we took him to see his pediatrician (his office rotates doctors so you basically see whoever is there). So doctor told me I did the right thing pulling it back and that I “fixed” the problem and have nothing to worry about. Well, I didn’t fix anything because he looked completely uncircumcised and the skin was not staying back, but we followed her instructions to put Vaseline at the rim of the tip to prevent skin adhesion. A week and a half later my husband convinced me to take him back to be looked at by a different doctor to get a different opinion. So we went today and the doctor took one look and looked at me and said “well that definitely doesn’t look circumcised” so he referred us to a pediatric urologist to be looked at and see what they will do but the doctor definitely thinks that if we want him to be circumcised then they’ll need to do the procedure again. Poor kid. So has anyone else dealt with this?
