Just one of the millions of things we’ve come to accept in our society.. I’m glad to see this outdated tradition falling out of style, or at least it’s not the only acceptable option anymore
Here’s another: when two people in a hetero relationship get engaged, why does the woman wear an engagement ring, and the man who is equally engaged, not wear one?! lol

Just do it. It doesn't matter at all who proposes first. Kinda like how it doesn't matter if a baby boy wear a pink baby's clothes. It's just with all the movie and all that we think men are supposed to propose, but we can too. 😘😘 Do it Sista.

I’m fine with women proposing, I think it’s great! It’s just not me, so I personally wouldn’t do it 🤷‍♀️ (I voted yes FYI)

My opinion only reason a women should propose is if marriage is for her benefit financially or legally. If you been with your partner awhile or have kids... and they make significantly more than you do... id say do what’s necessary to secure the bag financially. 
    Other than that let a man make his declaration. Men gave tons of options to be out in the streets...so let him show and declare his love and commitment to you so u not confused if he truly wants to be there.
