Hello, I need advice on how to get my almost 5 month old to eat her baby cereal and oatmeal. She is showing signs that she's ready to start eating food, and her doctor gave us the go ahead. We are mixing it with breastmilk and feeding her through a spoon. But she barely eats it, she will either chipmunk it in her cheeks or she will let it spill out of her mouth. She will eat like 25% of it. It's been about 2 weeks. Or does it just take time? Also should I go ahead and try puree of veggies or wait until she's eating better with the cereal?
