Breast pump prescription?

With my first i got my breast pump off of edge park, this pregnancy my dock wrote me a prescription for the breast pump. How does that work?

I used Aeroflow. They contacted my doctor for me. I didn’t do anything other than give my doctors info. Once it was approved, I got an email and was able to order my pump!

I had to send a picture of the prescription to aeroflow for my insurance to cover it
