Inched to catch it early both times I had it, I made sure to feed/express from the affected boob. Massage the sore area, hot compress on it.

I had a super high fever, the red patches and very fatigued. I needed antibiotics.

Massaging in hot showers. Frequent nursing on infected side. Drank a lot of water and rested as much as I could.

Add Epsom salts to warm water in a Haakaa. Attach to affected breast in 10-15 min. increments. Massage afterward. Repeat.

Moist heat, massages/expressing, LOTS of rest and water, and a mix of Advil and Tylenol.
