When to transfer IVF
I did my first cycle of IVF with a fresh transfer this past month. I’m very sad my fresh transfer was not successful but I just got confirmation that I had 8 PGS Normal embryos. I cannot decide if I should jump right back in and try a frozen transfer this next cycle without any break or take a two month break (because my cycle after this one I am not near the clinic for transfer) and transfer in May and try naturally for the two months in between? Some background is I conceived naturally after 3 months of trying in 2019 but had a stillbirth at 34 weeks with no explanation. I have been trying to conceive since then for almost a year and have had 2 chemical pregnancies. All my fertility tests have not shown any issues. I had an HSG that was normal and an endo biopsy that was maybe indicative of a polyp. My specialist says if I do have any polyps which he doesn’t think I do they are very small and can only be seen via a hysteroscopy. He suggests trying one transfer with a pgs normal embryo before going to hysteroscopy because he doesn’t have enough reason to believe I need it in his option. I want to be pregnant as soon as possible but I do want to give the next transfer a good chance.
Should I just go ahead and transfer next cycle with the PGT normal embryo without taking a break between retrieval cycle and transfer?
Should I take two months off and transfer in May?
Do a hysteroscopy this cycle try naturally next cycle and transfer in May?
Any insight or suggestions are really appreciated !!!
