My son just told me something that I never knew. My son is 19 not but he used to be a boy scout. He did tell me he never actually liked boy scouts and he only continued to go because I forced him. I just wanted him to get outside and be around people more which is why I thought boy scouts was good for him. When it came time for them to sell popcorn I wanted him and his dad to spend time together and sell popcorn together so that's what they did. Today he told me "Hey remember when me and dad used to sell popcorn together for boy scouts?" I said yes. He then says they never actually went to sell popcorn. They went to McDonald's for 3 hours and how dad would just buy all his popcorn. I asked my husband and he said "Look, I'm not a damn entrepreneur, and we did end up spending time together." That just annoyed me. Me and my husband never really talked about finances so I guess I never noticed a shit ton of money go missing. My husband did say they gave all the popcorn they bought to homeless people so at least it went to a good cause, but this taught me my son was an extremely lazy boy scout 😑
