Hi, does anyone know how you can get the combined pill here in England? Do you have to contact your GP and get a prescription or can I just buy it from my local pharmacy/drug store without a prescription?

I'm 18 (a legal adult) but my family is quite conservative so I'm hoping to buy them discreetly. I have also not used any type of birth control before, I know I sound clueless, but if anyone has any info! Please enlighten me~
