I’ve been living with my fiancé and his parents and they take covid very seriously.

I hadn’t seen my mom in over 2 months so I went home. Came back and totally forgot to take my shoes off when I came in and walked through the house(effectively spreading covid in their mind) with my dirty jacket on(left the house so it’s dirty now)

I caught his mom washing the floor because of it and I feel horrible.

My parents walk through their house with shoes on so that’s what I’m used to and I rarely leave my S/Os house because of covid.
