My daughter is almost 3 and she has a leather vocabulary but it’s mostly comprised of singular words. She composes some phrases and two worded sentences and can communicate with us on how she’s feeling or what she wants. My mom keeps telling me she should be saying more compound sentences by now. I took her to a speech therapist and they said she’s doing fine and continue to work with her if I was concerned about how she’s talking. Has anyone else been in this situation? I’d love to hear anyone’s stories in this regard. Thank-you in advance!
