What type of nurse should I become?

I know it’s ultimately my decision...Just want to see what majority will pick because I’m stuck between the two

I would be overwhelmed and scared being a er nurse because you never know what kind of emergencies will walk through the door. I would LOVE being around and caring for babies and pregnant women though 😚☺

It’s the most challenging to get into L&D as a new nurse but don’t be discouraged, the best thing about nursing is there are so many jobs/departments. If you don’t like the area you are in you can move onto better things once you have experience.

At the hospital I work at being a labor and delivery nurse is not easy to get. They really make sure your personality matches what they are looking for. ER nurses aren’t as hard to get, but they do pay more.
