Exercise

I don’t usually exercise on a regular basis, especially now that it’s been too cold to go out for walks but I’m really worried that I’ll gain 40-50 lbs like I did with my first. I was still struggling to lose the last 10lbs of baby weight after 2 years and now I’m pregnant with #2

I’m hoping come spring I will be back on top of walking everyday with my toddler but will trying something new slowly like yoga be bad? I know the doctors don’t suggest you start a new workout plan, I assume cross fit or insanity or something along those lines, but would yoga be safe to try?

We do eat healthy and keep a low sugar/carb diet. Husband is prediabetic and can manage his blood sugar without meds this way but I need more than just diet to keep the weight down. I wasn’t blessed with skinny genes

I started yoga my last pregnancy because I wasn’t allowed to do cardio the first trimester. It won’t hurt anything. Just make sure you’re doing prenatal yoga so you’re not putting extra strain on anything you shouldn’t xx
