I found out that I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks on 11th January this year. I had to wait until the HCG in my blood went to below 5! I started on about 7500HCG and my routine bloods each week showed my HCG went down rapidly until it got to just 3 on 1st February! This meant I got discharged from hospital and my hormones were as they should be for a person who was no longer pregnant.

I waited to TTC until I got my first period which came quicker than expected on 7th February. The nurse told me to wait until after that to TTC again so if I did fall pregnant, they can track how many weeks I am etc. I am now allowed to TTC again following the hospitals advice, I have been reading some posts on how people believe you are more fertile after a miscarriage? What’s your thoughts on this?

Did anyone fall pregnant again quickly after miscarriage? If so, How long did it take after your miscarriage to conceive again? Was it generally quicker or longer TTC than before?
