Does anyone know what this is?

We literally haven’t been anywhere so I don’t think he caught anything. He says it’s not itchy. It was all over his forehead yesterday, but that somewhat cleared up and now it’s all over his armpit

That is a viral hemorrhagic rash. 
The cause is definitely viral - measles or mumps would be my guess.
Call up your GP for a clear diagnosis.

Doesn't look like a viral rash to me, especially if he hasn't been recently sick. Could be folliculitis? You can always call his primary care provider. If it's not bothering him, I'd just wait to see if it goes away and then if it does, you're good. If not or it worsens, then you can always call.

There could be quite a few causes for something like this so it’s best to get it checked out to rule out anything serious. 
My husband breaks out in rashes that look exactly like this when he’s having an allergic reaction.
