Is my boyfriend telling the truth?

My boyfriend and I are 22 and have been together 7 years. I gained over 100 pounds since the start of our relationship. In addition to this, my boyfriend is on about 6 different antidepressants and antipsychotic medications, and two years ago he got addicted to meth after his neighbor asked him if he wanted to try it, and he was in a very dark place and said yes. He was addicted for about a year until I found out what was going on and gave him an ultimatum. He’s about a year sober now. Anyway, we haven’t had sex in about a year and a half. He told me it’s because it’s hard for him to stay hard because of the prescription meds and his past meth use. However I found pictures of naked women on his phone so he isn’t having any trouble getting horny.

Since last September, I’ve lost 50 pounds. I’m trying to get back to my original weight hoping he will want sex again. Today he came to me concerned that I’m eating too little (sometimes I eat under 1200 calories) and that he doesn’t want me to lose any more weight. I am still overweight, I’m 5’6 and about 215 lbs. I told him I want to lose about 50 pounds so he will want me sexually again and he broke down crying, said he can’t believe I think he wouldn’t want sex with me over something so shallow, that he loves me any weight I am and likes me thick. He said the reason we haven’t had sex has nothing to do with my weight, and he definitely doesn’t want me to lose 50 more pounds.

Then I brought up the pictures and he said it’s because men are visual, and that he wants and needs to see me naked in order to keep an erection, but that I never let him see my body during sex so he had no choice but to turn to pictures. I told him I want to look like the women in the pictures so I can turn him on and he said he doesn’t want me to look like that.

I’m honestly really confused. It seems like around the time we stopped having sex is when I gained a noticeable amount of weight (I was up to 265 pounds) yet he says he likes my body like it is. And what’s more confusing, is that all of the girls in the pictures were at least 30 pounds skinnier than me (most of them were chubby but not overweight like I am).
