I'm 10 weeks postpartum and I haven't started my period yet. I got the mirena IUD on Jan 19th at 5 1/2 weeks postpartum and I'm breastfeeding. I also spot a few days out the week regularly since getting the birth control, which my doctor said is normal and could last 6 months and then women don't usually have a period after awhile. Should I have started my period already or am I just not going to have one? I'm not complaining but just wondering lol I'm new to motherhood and iud birth control. Thanks for any insight!
