Am I wrong for this?

My boyfriend and I are 22 and have been together for 7 years. We love seeing each other and I go to his house practically everyday. I’m hardly ever home, and I usually stay home once or twice a week. My parents hate him because he is currently jobless and smokes pot and cigarettes. My mom makes daily passive aggressive comments about how much she hates him. I spent all weekend with my boyfriend and today he wants to see me again, and I want to see him too. I still live at home with my parents while going to college and they do not make me pay rent. I also work around 30 hrs/week while doing college full time. They have expressed that they do not like how often I see him and they want me to stay home more. Would I be wrong if I went to my boyfriend’s house today?

You're 22 years old. They can't stop you from seeing your boyfriend, tho it is kinda disrespectful to them with how much you are not home if they are letting you stay there rent free. I would suggest just going ahead and moving in with your boyfriend since you are at his house most of the time anyway, But I am curious how your boyfriend is supporting himself if he has no job?

You’re a young lady who works and goes to college while your boyfriend sits at home. Is he currently looking for work? You’ve been together 7 years, have your parents always expressed their dislike of him? At the end of the day, you’re an adult and can decide who you want in your life. I do understand why a parent wouldn’t like this relationship though. You seem highly motivated and he does not.. unless I’m missing something.

You also should try to keep your parents somewhat satisfied if they are financially supporting you. They are not obligated to support you after 18. Think with the end in mind. Free rent, food, and whatever else they help with car insurance etc?  Do whats necessary to not hve tension between you all.

They can’t make you do anything since you’re an adult, but you also live at their house rent free. 
I can understand your parents not being thrilled about him if he doesn’t have a job and smokes a bunch of weed. Who pays for things when you’re together? What are his goals? It also sounds like you always go to his place, not the other way around. Are you comfortable bringing him over to hang out with your parents occasionally? If not, that’s a red flag.

You need to find out the concrete reasons your parents dont like him. Have they been supportive in helpong you be successful? Have they been good parents? Parents oftentime are gaurdian angels and hv more onowledge and experience in life to recognize good and bad traits and predict outcomes. Dating as an adult is different than being a teenager. You need to be looking for career goals and financial stabulity in a partner, sense of a life vision ir goals, good habits versus toxic behaviors, motivation versus a person who is lazy and letting life pass by. Adult relationships are about more than love. They are about finding a adequate and capable partner to build a good life with. So I ask...
    What are his career goals and how is he wirking towards them? How does he handle his finances? How does he manage his anger? Does he show signa of progressiona and being responsible. Your parents may actually hve a point. Whatever u do.... just make sure u up on your birth control. Also think long term.

I have a similar situation. I’m a senior in college and I live at home with my parents. My parents like my boyfriend but they’re religious and don’t believe in being at a boyfriends house a lot especially at night. We’ve been together for years. Well I’m still over here more than I’m at my own house. I’m respectful. I keep them updated on where I am and I gave myself a curfew that I stick to on the nights that I stay at home. Well people always pull the “respect” your parents thing since I live at home but I feel like it’s wrong for parents to try to force their beliefs on you even if they are financially supporting you. It basically becomes a “I’m financially supporting you so you can’t do anything I disagree with”. Some think that’s okay and others don’t. I’d say you should try your hardest to move out so you don’t have to deal with that anymore. I almost have enough saved to be able to
