Why is it almost impossible to post photos???

I had the same issue on a comment a few days ago (trying to post an old 12dpo positive test) and it just kept coming up as a white square, I was getting insanely annoyed! But then I realized I needed to give the app permission first for the photo then go back and choose it 🤦🏻‍♀️ so many steps!

Why so difficult ???
