Pregnancy after MC?

Just had a D & C done yesterday.  I wanna try again for another baby but doctor said wait a week or 2..will I miss my chances??

With a d&c it's important to wait to give your body time to heal and your cervix is manually dilated so you need to give it time to close or you can get an infection. It's always best to listen to doctor's suggestions when it comes to things like that. I've had 6 miscarriages and no successful pregnancies. With one of them I had to have a d&c. With that miscarriage they suggested waiting a month for the same reason

I had a MC in November and tried again straight away using opks once the bleeding had stopped. I fell pregnant again just over 2 weeks later and now 12 weeks. We are extremely fertile after a MC so personally i took that opportunity and didnt wait. Good luck and sorry for your loss. X

You should wait a cycle or 2 to let your body heal....I had to track my hcg to 0 and then wait 6 weeks...he said it's like putting a baby on a scab
