Question

Ladies I want some advice. I’m getting mixed answers here. What kind of skin care products can you use during pregnancy? My skin has been breaking out and dry.

I started using Belli for my seriously acne prone skin and continue with it 1 year postpartum. I use the acne facewash and spot treatment and it clears me up within a day. Its obgyn and dermatologist recommended, vegan & cruelty free with no salicylic acid (which was something i relied heavily on before getting pregnant).
The 2 products i use cost about $30 all together and last me about 2 months

The big ones to avoid are salicylic acid (willow bark) and retinoids. 
This active serum has Willow bark, but it’s non nano, meaning it’s too big to be absorbed into your skin, and the website even assures it’s customers that it’s 100% safe for pregnancy. Another remedy I love is frankincense oil. Just a few dabs on your breakouts and it’s clear in a couple of days. 
For dry skin it’s important to use a chemical exfoliator, like an enzyme peel, rather than trying to use a physical exfoliator which will irritate your skin and eventually lead to more breakouts and dry skin. I like Amorepacific treatment enzyme peel or Tatcha rice polish enzyme powder. Both products are a powder that turns into a foam cleanser when they get wet and gently exfoliate and moisturize your skin by “eating” your dry skin and leaving behind perfectly smooth skin. 
I use my enzyme powder 2-3 times per week, but for my everyday cleanser I use Fresh soy cleanser because it’s gentle and ph balanced, but any gentle cleanser works. Many people like Cetaphil.  My favorite winter moisturizer is Blithe Tundra Chaga pressed serum.
