Urgent care gender testing?

Has anyone used urgent care to find out the gender early?

Please, do not go to urgent care unless you need URGENT CARE. You can request a genetic blood screen with gender add on thru your OB. You can do sneak peek. You can go to a private ultrasound scan. But I would highly suggest either doing the genetic blood work, as anything else too early could be wrong.

No, if you go for an ultra sound they just look long enough to check there is still a heart beat etc. If it's a blood test it's to check all your levels to see if anything can be causing issues with baby (which you don't have as you are just looking to find out the gender) . None of it will be to find out the sex for you regardless of how badly you want to find out.

If you are trying to find out gender early- you either have to do sneak peak test that you buy online or you schedule a early gender ultrasound at a private ultrasound place and it usually costs around 65-80$ and you can’t do it until your 14 weeks. 
Sometimes depending on your OB they will do blood work at your 8-10 week appt and do genetic testing (NIPT) and it will tell you the gender also but my OB does not do it for everyone and since I don’t have any risks of any of the stuff they test for, my insurance wouldn’t cover the test. 
With both of my pregnancies I scheduled private scans at a separate ultrasound place and paid to find out at 14 weeks

No. Urgent care isn’t going to do anything at all for you. The emergency room did an ultrasound for me only because I was spotting. But they definitely did not tell me gender or do gender blood work

they won’t give you an ultrasound simply because you ask for one. and most urgent cares don’t have ultrasound machines. wait until your anatomy scan or go to a private place to get a scan.

No that would be through your doctor and sometimes you don’t even find out then. They did genetic testing for me at 12 weeks and the results are good but I geuss they used the one that doesn’t look for gender. I am almost 15 weeks so I have to wait till I’m 20 weeks to know. You have to be patient you will know eventually.
