Has anybodys OB put you on birth control to get you pregnant?

So I have PCOS so i have very bad irregular periods. Sometimes I have no period for two months sometimes I'm on my period for two months. She put me on birth control pills to regulate my period it didnt work I bleed the whole the months taking the pills right and never missing one. So she gave me a higher dose plus put me on Adipex to lose a few pounds. I was just wondering if anyone else has been through this and even got pregnant after it.

Metformin can help with regulating your periods. I was put on birth control for pcos cyst once I stopped my cycles became irregular after birth control. I’m taking metformin 1,000 to regulate them.

I have pcos and very irregular periods. My mother in law actually told me to take birth control pills to regulate my periods. I took bc for 2 months then quit to see if I can regulate on my own and I got my first Opk positive Saturday. Now I’m in my 2ww.
