What symptoms were you having before real labor?

I’m 39 weeks 6 days today. I’ve been having very consistent and sometimes pretty painful contractions since 36 weeks so I was sure I would go into labor early. I’ve had a ton of pressure, really bad lightening crotch, and a shit ton of discharge for weeks now and I am starting to feel like this baby is never going to come 🤦‍♀️ at 37 weeks I was 2cm, didn’t get checked at 38, and at 39 3cm. I have another appointment later today so I guess we’ll see if I’ve dilated more. My doctor hasn’t scheduled an induction because she said it looks like my body is doing great on it’s own to go into labor but I’m getting very discouraged 😕 the past 2 days contractions have gotten more painful, and I’ve been going to the bathroom CONSTANTLY. I’m just wondering how else everyone was feeling at this point and if there’s any hope I’ll go into labor naturally soon 😫
