Praying πŸ™πŸ» possible trigger warning pre term labour.

I lost my mucus plug this morning at 23 weeks exactly. I'm 2 cm dialated have been for about 12 hours now, and have bulging membranes. Been given medication to prevent contractions and a steroid injection to help babys lungs should I deliver. Have been transferred to Oxford hospital and had an amniocentesis performed in the hope that I have no infection and they can attempt to stitch my cervix up tomorrow morning which will give me a 50% change of little lady staying inside until 28 weeks. Long night ahead praying for results to come back showing the stitch can be completed. If it can't I've been told I'll likely deliver in the next 72 hours, she's 23 weeks she isn't viable but thankfully this hospital can assist with babies as early as 23 weeks so thats a blessing! They haven't given me percentages survival, but have warned its not good. Please send a prayer for me and my baby girl πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’—πŸ€žπŸΌπŸŒˆπŸ˜”

Update: 2 stitches now in. I had a wobbly in theatre, my bp dropped low, heart rate dropped to 30 I almost passed out, felt horrific. They had to lay me down, took 5-6 attempts to do the spinal block. Very painful and they had to use a bigger needle in the end. But all went well with the procedure once it was in. Ive been on recovery ward for 5 hours as my bp stayed low and pulse high but both doing well now and hopefully moving to a private room with the next 2 hours. Will be discharged tomorrow morning if all stays well. Little lady is moving around and heart rate is fine so.. so far so good πŸ‘πŸ»I've done all I can and so have the wonderful team looking after us, all up to her now xx
