Visitors after baby..
Okay so trying to write out a text with my husband as a request for visitors and this is what we have 😂 it’s lengthy af but 🤷🏻♀️ thoughts on grandparents who are anti flu shot?
Birth plan
Speaking with a doctor and our midwife we have been advised to not have visitors until after William has had his first shots which will be a couple weeks out from his birth.
After he’s had vaccinations these are the steps we are requesting you take before and while visiting. We hope that everyone can respect our wishes during this challenging but wonderful time of his arrival.
When you want/ are able to see William we need each person to follow these guidelines
Flu vaccine 2 weeks or more before visit
Tdap booster vaccine 2 weeks or more before visit
Two week quarantine
Or negative covid test after covid test is taken you are to not leave the house or have people over or stop at a gas station etc.
The idea is to get a negative result come see baby without any pit stops or contact with anyone else outside your household.
Upon receiving your results send us a copy/screenshot.
Since everyone lives in a multiple person house hold each person will need to follow these and unfortunately if one person can’t/doesn’t that puts the others at risk for exposure and all in that household will not be able to see the baby.
We will need everyone to be on the same page so if you feel sick or run down please just be honest Lillian’s and especially William’s health depends on it.
Once you come up to see him we are going to request washing hands before touching, no kissing, and wearing a new mask at all times. The mask isn’t to touch him per the doctors advice.
We are really excited for everyone to meet the little guy and if any guidelines change we will keep you informed.
Any questions or comments text us individually and out of this group text please
