I have had nexplanon since June, and the side effects haven’t been terrible except for the breakthrough bleeding... like every other week or every 2 weeks I get my period. And it usually lasts 5-7 days 😅 my provider had me go on the pill for 3 months to see if that would help it to become more regular, but it has been 2 months since I stopped taking the bc pill and my period is still super frequent. I’m most likely going back on the pill just to regulate my period (and I’m not getting the implant out because I like how effective it is), but I was wondering if anyone with nexplanon had tried anything else to get their break through bleeding under control?
