Sometimes it’s better, depending on the father. If they are toxic forwards you it’s just as bad for your child to be around that. If they were to treat me or my child poorly in any way then I wouldn’t want them around us.

No. But I’m also not ok with my child growing up with an abusive father. So you know... situational exceptions.

That depends on the character of the father. If they’re going to do my child more harm by being in their life, they can probably live without. If having their father around is going to benefit them, which it does in a lot of cases, absolutely that’s important to me.

I would want my child to grow up in a healthy environment. If their father isn’t a good guy/dad then I wouldn’t want him in their life, in my experience it causes more hurt.

If I’d had a child in a relationship with another woman, then yes. 🙃 But my partner, and the father of our children will always be a part of their lives- I wouldn’t have it any other way!
