When your temperature takes a dip near the beginning of a new cycle, does it typically continue rising during the new cycle after the dip?

My period hasn't started yet and am currently on day 30 of my cycle. Had a dip in my temperate on day 27 and since it has risen and stayed steady at the higher temperature.

Want to take a pregnancy test, but have had a year of negatives after suffering from a miscarriage, so holding onto hope feels good. Hoping I miss my period.
