What are your thoughts?
Not here for a debate , just wanted to hear everyone else’s opinion on this. It is recommended that we sterilize baby bottles once a week or month ( I can’t remember) but I feel like that’s not safe? Most baby bottles are plastic so whether we boil them in hot water or put them in dish washer or other ways of sterilizing them, there’s a potential for leaching of chemical. Even the ones that says BPA free, it’s still not completely harmless. If it’s not safe for us microwave food in plastic containers, then why is it safe for us to boil our baby bottles in hot water for 5 mins? Or in the dishwater for that matter? So for these reasons, we actually just use very warm water with soap to wash the bottles. What are your thoughts on this?
