First trimester insomnia ?

Anyone surfing from severe insomnia? Not just having to wake up and pee, but like up and awake all night long.

Not that bad, but yeah I have trouble getting more than 5 hours of sleep each night. I’m lucky if I can get to sleep before 2-3am.

Without fail, I wake up every night at some point between 2a-4a, and I stay up til 5, and then I’m exhausted again and able to sleep til 7. Without fail. Started during my 3rd week, even before I knew I was pregnant, and hasn’t stopped yet. I’m pretty sure if I start sleeping through the night again I’m gonna think something is wrong!

Yes, it was like this with my last pregnancy too. I sleep maybe 4.5 hours lol. I have trouble staying asleep once I’m asleep also. It sucks.

My OB recommended the Unisom would help me sleep if I really needed it.

Yes! So hard to sleep the past week. It feels like I drank too much coffee - I've got that weird wired feeling- but I haven't had any in weeks. My heart feels like it beats a little faster at night when I go to lie down.

Yes and I’m going crazy 😩 I’m dreading the big uncomfortable stage of 3rd trimester And not being able to breathe if I lay on my back 😂

I get maybe 3-4 hours max a night, but my thyroid also switched to hyper again so I’m sure that’s the culprit

Yup. I had insomnia before pregnancy so now it's just worse lol
