So I’m currently doing lab hours at one of our local preschools (this is my last class to graduate to get a degree in child development)

So my first assignment, we are to design a whole lesson plan for children ages 3-5 and I was given physical development. Therefore I am to created a outdoor activity using gross motor skills.

I am something in mind as of right now. I decided to do “The jumping frogs” it involves plastic pads and cones. Children are to pretend to be frogs and jump on each “lily pad” and run around the cone and again jump on the lily pad.

I sent this to my mentor to see what she thought. She said it was fine but once I was done with this I should have other set of “movements” to keep their interest?

Any ideas or anything that has work for your small students?
