Bleeding?

Is it normal to bleed bright red blood 4 weeks after giving birth. I stopped bleeding for a few days now i am on day 2 of bright red blood is this normal?

It’s normal for blood to fluctuate over the postpartum period. I’ve gone days with barely even spotting then bright blood came back. I’ve just tried to slow down if my blood gets super heavy and it typically helps. This is my third, but with my first I was bleeding off and on well into my 8th wk postpartum. This time I’ve been much more conscious of taking it easy and allowing my body to heal, so my bleeding has eased considerably. I’m 4 wks postpartum now and have occasional spotting with some days that are bright red. Hope that helps!

I did exactly the same. Thought it was over, then it started up again. Did you do anything different? Mine was after I'd gone for a walk. It stopped again after a few days and hasn't come back.
