Is this implantation bleeding or my period?

Question

I’m on the combination pill and I’ve been taking them everyday for almost a year now.
I had sex 2 weeks ago and he didn’t pull out and came inside me and I’ve been paranoid ever since even though I’m on birth control pills. 
Anyways, I’m on the 4th day of my placebo pill today and I’m supposed to get my period tomorrow. I used a cue tip instead of my finger to check my cervical mucus and this came out. Is this implantation bleeding could I be pregnant or is this my period?
If this is my period should I still take a pregnancy test to confirm if I’m pregnant on the pill? Or will my period indicate that I’m not pregnant?

Your period is pretty much almost always an indication that you’re not pregnant, this does not look like implantation bleeding to me, it’s too bright red it might be your period coming in or it could be spotting from you swabbing your cervix (I spot every time I get a PAP done but idk your body lol) that being said give it a few days, if you miss your period, take a test and you’ll be able to confirm whether you’re pregnant or not

Also make sure you talk to your doctor if you decide to wait on starting your new pack. As you know, any delay can reduce its effectiveness. 
I agree though, implantation is usually a lighter pink. Take a quick test though to reduce any anxiety and stay hydrated as stress and dehydration can delay a period - even on the pill (from my personal experience on the pill for 10 years)

Implantation bleeding is rare. It’s also something that happens well before your period is due. This is your withdrawal bleed. 
Also, don’t stick Q-Tips anywhere.
