Do you deal with pre-therapy anxiety?

I am not used to sharing my emotions. I was raised in a house where we weren’t even allowed to speak our minds of that would be just disrespectful. Therefore I have no idea how to convey my feelings properly. My university has set me up with a therapist after I filled out their form on depression. But I’m so anxious to talk because I have no idea how to talk about my feelings. I am so used to dealing with my emotions by other means.

How do you get over this?
