Any suggestions with scar tissue on cervix and labor?

We’re 36 weeks + 5 days today. I had my first cervix exam & got news I didn’t want 😔 no dilation & scar tissue from a leep procedure I had when I was 16. My doctor had a very hard time finding the opening of my cervix but babygirls head was there! Any suggestions on how to help dilation with scar tissue? Did you have to have a c section? Anddd I tested positive for strep B 😔 so I’ve been pretty down today trying to be positive!!! 💕💕💕

I had scarring and it complicated my induction. It did prevent me initially from dilating however once I got the epidural, I progressed much faster. I was able to deliver vaginally.

I had a cone biopsy in 2016. I have scar tissue as well. When I had my son, I was slow to dilate. I used a ball between my legs and it helped to speed up the process. Once the scar tissue breaks open, it’s extremely quick. I went from 3cm to 10 in about 30 minutes. I was able to deliver vaginally with no issues. His head got stuck under my cervical bone and I pushed for 3.5 hours but that had nothing to do with my cervix. 
All will be fine. Don’t stress about it! 😃

Prepare yourself for a possible csection. 
My mother in law had scarring and had to have a csection she wouldn't dilate past 5.
Its kind of a wait and see thing, you may dilate or you may not.

So much easier than labor
